Democrats and the stupidity they represent.

People really amaze me, they challenge my faith because of my choice in candidates, and they challenge my loyalty to my country because I think that people should have to work for a living. They call me a racist for me standing up for my rights; do I deny you health care and or housing? NO I do not..The arrogance of lazy people to actually think that I need to break my back to pay for all of these social programs, people in this country are angry. Tea Parties, The Birthers, and bloggers, this is a deep and visceral anger that is beyond reason. You can show the Pro’s to social programs all you want but facts are facts “People are tired of being the working /walking pay check for these “programs”.

Voters In Will county

When you go to the polls today think of all the taxes that have been levied on your pockets in the last 4 years,  stop and think if you re-elect the same people back into office will the situation change under their management of the city and county of Joliet and Will County.

I cast my vote today and I voted to oust the current regime and voted for change, I want jobs for the area, “not” more taxes by a pick-pocket elected board(s) I was and am tired of paying for the screws-up, only to be asked to fix the problem with more of my tax dollars when they have wasted so much of our tax dollars in the past.

So vote today for tomorrow your pocket my be picked clean.

Local officials against swine flu ?

Joliet-area officials struggle to warn area residents about the health scare without stirring widespread panic due to political correctness.

Joliet Illinois schools in Will County school districts  spent Monday not notifying parents about the potential risks in the area that has Mexican illegals with strong links to the country where the virus originated, Jumping the border is the cause for Illinois infections, the virus has infected at least 48 people in five U.S. states, none of them fatally as of yet.

A major concern  has resonated but lack of officials concern has cause me to worry, why not advised parents to monitor their children’s health, With 45 percent of the Joliet Illinois school’s having 25,000 students either Mexican illegals or Mexican born Americans, teachers  should be asking parents if their families have traveled to Mexico recently.

local officials have down played the severity trying not to cause fear,  Despite the fact that several reports have indicated that U.S. swine flu patients had recently traveled to Mexico,

local officials and school leaders have chosen to ignore that, we’re doing nothing to stop them from coming across the border.

Let them hold a Cinco de Mayo parade in Joliet and all around Illinois communities, we have no right to good health as it seems to me and it would be par for the course .  It seems again they have  put party politics ahead of the welfare of the very people they are paid so generously to represent, If we have a swine flu pandemic in America, the Politicians are entitled to a great deal of the blame.. Cheap labor and Germ warfare great way to get rid of us unemployed American voters that Elected these pieces of crap.

lately 23 states are now experiencing cases of Chagas a South American disease causing heart failure, intestinal problems and ultimately death but that’s OK right?…. lets do nothing, lets be politically correct and sensitive to people that have no caring for our well being.

Da little politician cry’s foul

Dean Tomich, who donated $500, regularly asks (and receives) zoning variances for projects he develops within the city limits. Churnovic reimbursed himself many hundreds of dollars for meals, airplane tickets, and hotel rooms. One reimbursement for $480

Dax Young – Crest Hill Resident

From the herald Spew News by  BOB OKON bokon@scn1.com The date of the candidates’ forum, the location of the forum and the format for the forum were fodder for a lengthy and emotion-filled discussion during the council’s workshop session Monday.

Sam Chellino, president of Crest Hill Community Television, expressed indignation at being called “crooked” at a previous council meeting.

Alderman Charles Convery accused the TV group of trying “to play God” by exerting too much control over the forum.

And Alderwoman Tina Oberlin voiced concern that someone might use their five minutes on TV to “go on a vile rant.”

“If someone wants to take their five minutes and blast their opponent, that’s their decision,” offered Alderman Ray Soliman, a candidate for mayor. He added that he would not do that.

As the debate dragged on for nearly an hour, Mayor Nick Churnovic asked, “Who wants the candidates’ forum at this point?”

But then he concluded, “If anybody wants to show up, they can show up. If anyone doesn’t want to show up, they don’t have to show up.”

“I’m not doing it — not with their format,” Alderwoman Brenda Lelis said.

Alderman John Vershay eased the tension at one point with a tongue-in-cheek defense of the five-minute format.

“You have to sell yourself to the people. What’s the big commotion? It’s a salesman’s job. Who’s got the biggest line of B.S.? And, here I am,” Vershay said, rising to his feet and raising his voice. “I’ve got it.”

How many rental properties does Nick have in Ward I? No wonder the push for the TIF district… Sec 8 housing, low property values, to many similarities to Joliet.

Allied Waste Contributed $500 to ChurnovicFri, 20 Feb 2009 02:31:15 GMT

I searched through the State Board of Elections tonight and found this contribution.Allied Waste Services 808 South Joliet Street Joliet, IL 60436 $500 11/20/2007 Individual Contribution Committee to Re-Elect Mayor Nick Churnovic

Considering the $5 million contract the city approved this week, I think this has to be something the mayor should address.

Mr. Mayor, how is this not pay-to-play when there was no bidding on the contract?

Looking for answers…In Joliet

Where is the politicians going with Joliet, January 1st 2008 we are to obey the new law of “No” smoking in public places.

Now isn’t this something else to make businesses abandon Joliet again. When leaving the Windy City for Joliet, Illinois, You see that Joliet has deteriorated under the current and previous politicians of Joliet Illinois.

Joliet has turned into a dying hole on the map, lately Joliet has added old time gas pumps on street corners to add ambiance of Rt 66 to the non-laughable joke of Joliet being brought back to what it once was in the past.

The commercial areas around the train station have become stagnant as well as most businesses have also, most businesses in Joliet that were family owned are now gone to the winds.  What have we become the new generation trash man tax payers at work, “The goal should be to find a way to retrain and sustain Joliet and Will County’s work force,” I say “aggressive training initiative to retrain the work force should be a demand made by Joliet residents.”  “In Joliet, we have two hotels and they’re not faring well at all especially in the downtown area. Our motels are inadequate, our restaurants are dying, our taverns, our parking lots, the food vendors, and the real estate values have fallen, all of these things are not in good financial health, yet Joliet is trying to look toward a great influx of money, of people, through a very limited medium of riverboat gambling and future homes that may or may-not be built. Riverboat gambling has not met the criteria set forth by Illinois legislators when they sold this idea to the citizens of Joliet Illinois. “It’s illogical to expect casino customers to leave the premises and spend money in nearby stores, restaurants, or bars.” And this hurts local economy and hurts property owners. The economic development we have seen was marginal at best; it has not spurred economic development. It has not created jobs. It has not boosted tourism, and it certainly has not brought new life to Joliet or Will County.

Bring in a gambling venture, and it sucks the dollars out of other areas of discretionary spending just like the employing of illegals in American businesses do also. But what do I know, I guess my eyes lie to me and my hearing must be defective too when it comes to listening to the bullshit the local politicians are spouting daily, we hear the words of encouragement yet we see nothing coming as proof, Joliet is now viewed as a modern-day Slum and the local politicians are its slumlords trying to put a band-aid on the real problems.   No one seems to be thinking about good paying jobs or what we can do to attract businesses to the area; I have been to council meetings and been to web sites like www.willcountyced.com  and  Joliet – Incentives and Grants  “Joliet and Will county government leaders are failing because of technology, market share and City and County reach, increasingly complex moving exponentially faster each day.” The dinosaurs we have in office now are falling behind while other areas are growing and leaving us behind. When you have political leaders that can’t even answer there own email how can the same political leaders bring prosperity to Joliet and Will County?

Will County police and States attorney’s office make boo-boo.

inside source states attorney office: transcripts of 6:45 March 07/08/03 Will county Police

A call came in to the Will County Sheriff’s Office at 6:45 pm the anonymous caller spoke with the on duty officer.
Officer: “Yes. What can I  do for you?”
an anonymous caller “I’m calling to report  my neighbor  Virgil Sith…. He’s hiding Marijuana inside his firewood! the caller stated, I Do not  know how he puts it inside the logs, but he’s hiding it there and they are in the shed in back of his home.”

The on duty officer reported what he had been told by the caller to his superiors, So today march 9th 2007, the Sheriff’s Deputies and the States attorney descend on Virgil’s home in the 1400 block of Jefferson St in Joliet Illinois. They search the shed out back of Virgil’s home where the firewood was kept, using axes, they busted open every piece of wood in Virgil’s shed, but did not find marijuana. After 3 1/2 hours grilling the suspect Virgil Sith, Not finding no probable cause for arrest, they sneer at Virgil and leave.
Shortly after the Police and the States attorney left, the phone rings at Virgil’s home. The states attorney and one Will county officer was now enforcing a wire tap on Virgil’s home 3 blocks away; the Unknown caller said:

“Unknown caller (whispering)…. Did the Sheriff  show up.

Virgil: Yea and they brought the States attorney too?”

Unknown caller: “What did they do”?

Virgil: They came with a warrant and busted up all of my wood in my shed and I don’t know why?”

Unknown caller: “Well I told you I would help you with that job of splitting the wood!” “Happy Birthday,  buddy!”

Note this just a joke and never really happened“.

Is Joliet City Council all talk and no action.

Back in the 70’s I lived in what is known now as The Evergreen apt and back then it was a great place to live, as a kid I had a lot of fun there, but now it is a cesspool.

Today any time of the day or night you can purchase crack, weed, meph, get robbed and get sex all in one house of debauchery.

John Mezera and the Joliet City council needs to get tough on the Evergreen terrace and its owners.

What message will it send to them that obey the law if the city council goes soft and gives up on the attempt to shut down the Evergreen apts.

The message will be clear: soft on crime and never finish what they start.

Ahh!! sounds about right don’t it..

The property that this place sits on could be utilized better as a home for battered women, a city civics center or any thing that would send a positive message to people of Joliet and to Will County.

Just think what these movie companies that have come to Joliet over the past few years have said about Joliet and think what new visitors to Joliet think on what they see when they have to go past the Evergreen apts leaving the the casino.

What is this place really costing the people of Joliet, describing it as Sec 8 housing further diminishes its image and lowers the surrounding property values and all the while there are them that would also have us believe that this place is ok as it is, It is time to clean house and it is time for the city to push the broom.

I say to the city council Get Er’ DID and stop just talking about it.
